It’s been a while since I’ve taken some time to jot down some thoughts about life and to introduce myself. If you’re new here, welcome. If you’re returning, welcome back.

I’ve always loved writing. Ever since I can remember, I’ve penned little stories. Usually with a theme of triumph over a greater evil, where the main character wins by valuing and embodying friendship, love, and hope. I like an underdog and I like to see people win after struggle.

This is a place where I like to share my thoughts in little essays, poems, and short fiction stories. You’re welcome to drop a comment with your own thoughts, but please keep in mind this is a respectful community, and comment accordingly.

I think there’s a lot of us out there who feel deeply in our hearts and love to share our lived experience through prose. Sometimes it’s not enough to just keep those thoughts in a private diary. Sometimes they need to be released into the world and shared with others. To help others see they are not alone. To help other people know in their heart that there’s humans out there who understand them.

Life is beautiful. We try and capture it as best as we can through the written word. Whether we’re writing about a sun rising after a particularly rough night, overcoming an obstacle that once seemed impossible to break through, or finding the right people to share our lives with.

I hope to do my best to capture my thoughts and feelings here — to share them with you.
