Nor do they seek to cause harm.

Water lilies dance with the wind

Welcoming aquatic neighbors with charm.

To grow from the muddy earth.

Growing petals of lovely worth.

Water lilies rest easy against turmoil

They don’t rush to condemn.

Water lilies grow at their own pace

Looking to others and not judging them.

To stop killing, fighting, destroying.

I wish for this world to be gentle

Valuing, loving, enjoying.

I wish for this world to be gentle.
