SUNSHINE AURA – self-esteem. self-love. self-actualization. 

I cannot stop thinking of this new song by one of my favorite artists. Even upon listening for the first time, I felt like everything around me stopped. The lyrics hit in such a way that only poetry can. The way the singers’ voices conveyed such emotional depth sent a full body chill down my spine and even deeper into my quads. I know something is really good when I get the odd, intoxicating quad chills. It’s hard to describe adequately, but there’s this magic that manifests when you hear a song that speaks to you so truly, as if the artist went into your own brain and heart, used your memories, thoughts, and feelings as little legos, and put their song together. There’s a knowing that occurs when you hear a lyric, or see a film, or read a line in a book that resonates so fully with your own experience. It’s like, “yes, somebody out there understands me and, I, them.” To be so connected in such a way is beautiful.
