I want to tell you

Of the Forest

Up aways from here.

In it you’ll find

Things not mine

But lives simple and clear.

Trees so tall

Bunnies so small

Silence we hold so dear.

The forest is magic

Falling slowly asleep

The first to rest, a bear.

Snowflakes frost

The plants so soft

Living to see New Year.

I could stay

Forever and a day

But this is not my sphere.

The Forest is free

Purer than me

Unshielded by veneer.

I keep my distance

Admiring from afar

The Forest aglow with Winter.
